Tarbiyah Qur’an Curriculum (TQC)
The Tarbiyah Qur’an Curriculum is a comprehensive recitation curriculum that begins with the alphabets and ends with fluent recitation with tajweed from the Uthman Taha muṣḥaf.
The curriculum includes the following manuals for students and teachers:
- Levels 1 and 2 – Includes alphabet, joining and harakah
- Levels 3 and 4 – Includes all topics from sukoon to stops
- Level 5 – Includes various tajweed rules
- Learning to recite from Uthman Taha muṣḥaf- Guidance on how to recite confidently from the Uthman Taha mushaf for those who are already able to recite from the Indo Pak muṣḥaf
The curriculum also has:
- A bespoke teacher training programme
- Bite- sized teacher and parent training videos for each new concept
- Resources and activity ideas
The pilot edition of the Tarbiyah Qur’an Curriculum was completed in the academic year 2023/24 in 3 madaris in the UK. Feedback from these madaris and various other experts is now being implemented to further develop and improve the curriculum.
The samples below are available to give you an insight into the curriculum, however they are being adjusted and trainings programs are being worked on for a global roll out.
